Tanya Henriksson is the face behind AltoLingua.

Tanya was born and raised in Australia and has
loved languages ever since she was small.

During her travels to six continents, Tanya has learnt English, Swedish and Japanese as well as phrases in a dozen other languages, including Swahili and Mandarin.

Even so, English will always be the language closest to her heart and remains her greatest passion.

Tanya has worked as a professional Swedish-English translator, proofreader and copyeditor for almost 20 years. She is one of only a small number of translators authorized by Swedish government agency Kammarkollegiet.
